It’s that time of the year again when ladies have their time to shine at Sedgefield Racecourse Bodhi Solutions Ladies Day on Friday 28th August. Dust off your fascinator, dry clean that dress and dig out those heels, it’s your turn to parade the ring in style! A dazzling mix of fashion, fun, live horse racing and entertainment awaits, and this year promises to be unmissable from start to finish.
Tickets start at £25 to attend this gorgeous day out, full of competitive racing, fashion and lively entertainment, or book with a group of friends to save even more! Off the track, there is a wide variety of food and drink options to ensure you stay fuelled for the afternoon and evening ahead, whether grabbing a quick snack or enjoying celebratory refreshments in between races.
This year’s event is partnered with Charity Remembering Rebecca, a Teesside charity in memory of Rebecca Sands who was diagnosed with a rare brain disorder at 10 weeks and who very tragically passed away at just 21 months. The charity aims to provide financial assistance to families who have children suffering from the same condition, lissencephaly. The charity will be collecting donations at the racecourse on Ladies Day.
Gates open at 14:55 with the first race at 16:25, kicking off your Bank Holiday weekend in true style - even if you have work beforehand! There are a total of seven thrilling jump races throughout the afternoon and evening, with the final race at 19:5049.
There are even live music performances during the day and evening too! Local artists Beat Boutique and Lady V Sax, Elena Larkin and Logan Amos are all set to entertain racegoers throughout, making this Ladies Day more memorable than ever.
Bodhi Solutions Ladies Day is widely known as the racecourse’s most stylish fixture of the year, and with the Style Awards making a return for 2026, they expect to see more creative looks than ever before. Judges will be scouring for the best-dressed racegoers for the Style Awards where the winner can scoop £500 cash!
And that's not all - there is an incredible array of prizes on offer for the Style Awards this year, including a luxury spa overnight stay with a treatment, dinner, bed and breakfast for two at Redworth Hall Hotel & Spa up for grabs. There is a £100 voucher from Storeys Hair & Beauty Salon, a £100 voucher from Luma Beauty & Aesthetics and a £230 voucher from Grace and Dotty clothing.
This year ‘Best Hat’ makes a breakthrough award and the winner can bag a £150 for Feathers & Finery Millinery Design. A truly amazing collection of prizes! Make sure you dress to impress and look out for the flower wall to enter.
And with tickets starting from £25 for the day, this is the best value Ladies Day you’ll attend all season. Get in there quickly while there are still some tickets left!
