Need a midweek change of scene? Head to Sedgefield Racecourse this September for an afternoon of jump racing. With horses and jockeys taking on the fences and the crowd cheering them home, Tuesday brings plenty of sporting action to County Durham.
Leave the usual Tuesday routine behind and spend the afternoon with friends, family or a group of racing mates. September brings the first hints of autumn, making it a good time to get outdoors and enjoy a day at the races. Find a spot to watch the action, catch up over food and drink, and enjoy the friendly feel of Sedgefield.
Jump racing keeps you watching from start to finish. The horses gather at the start, the field stretches out and the cheers build as they head towards the finish. There's always something to follow, whether you know your racing or are simply there to enjoy an afternoon out.
Make room in your diary for Tuesday racing at Sedgefield. Check ticket options and plan your visit ahead of the day.
Children 17 and under go free* to the races when accompanied by an adult (*exclusions may apply). Children do not require a ticket in advance and a free ticket will be issued on the day.
