Make the most of a winter afternoon with jump racing at Sedgefield Racecourse this February. Our Thursday fixture brings you close to the action, with horses tackling the jumps and the sound of hooves thundering towards the finish. It's a chance to enjoy proper jumps racing in County Durham, whether you're a regular at the track or planning an afternoon out with mates.
Swap the office for the fresh air of the Sedgefield countryside and watch the racing unfold from trackside. You'll see the horses up close and feel the excitement build as they clear each fence and battle towards the line. There's plenty to enjoy between races, too, making this a good excuse to get your friends together and break up the working week.
February can be chilly, so wrap up warm if you're planning to watch from trackside. You can also take a break from the cold in our restaurant or sports bar before heading back out to catch the action. From the first jump to the final stretch, there's a real thrill in seeing the horses and jockeys give it their all.
