Kids (and kids at heart!) can try their hand at circus skills activities — from plate-spinning to juggling — or enjoy magical meet-and-greets with colourful characters straight from the big top. History of the race

This race day at Sedgefield is one of the most prestigious meetings of the year and features the iconic Durham National. A fixture at Sedgefield since 1955, The Durham National is the biggest race to take place at the racecourse. The race happens every October and is run over three and three-quarter miles.

We still need to confirm our entertainment for 2025, but it has previously featured show-stopping Children’s entertainment from walking superheroes to interactive shows and singalongs.
