Following Government advice, all racing at Sedgefield Racecourse will continue behind closed doors until further notice. From 24/09/20 all attendees to Sedgefield Racecourse will be requested to fulfil the NHS Track & Trace system upon entry.
With areas of the country experiencing different restrictions, dependant on the government's tiered approach to combat Covid-19 transmissions, we ask all owners to check our news page where the latest information on any enhanced measures at Sedgefield Racecourse will be available.
Owners will be asked to comply with all the local restrictions in place when visiting and those planning on attending Sedgefield Racecourse do so in accordance with the latest guidelines for their area.
Whilst horse racing takes place behind closed doors, the owners' experience at Sedgefield will be a bit different from what we've been able to offer in the past.
Please see below for the latest owners policy and provision. We hope that, as restrictions ease, we can provide you with the experience we pride ourselves on. In the meantime, thank you for your support.
Sedgefield Racecourse is pleased to be able to welcome back owners. To help us ensure everyone stays two meters apart, owners are able to receive a maximum of four complimentary badges for each declared runner. If there is space, we will try and accommodate additional ticket requests.
Owners are requested to request badges via the PASS system. Please refer to the information from the ROA and the RCA regarding this and the transfer of badges prior to the race day. If you do not have access to the PASS System or need any assistance in its use, please contact the PASS Helpdesk on 01933 270333 or firstname.lastname@example.org
We are pleased to offer all owners a complimentary light lunch and a bar serving a range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. All food and drink will be table service in our dedicated owners' facility.
As per recent government guidelines, all Owners attending Sedgefield Racecourse will be required to register for NHS's Track & Trace.
QR codes will be prominently displayed at the entrance to Sedgefield. Visitors will be able to use their smartphone to scan the code. This will link to the appropriate NHS site where they will be required to enter their details and receive relevant updates.
All owners will need to complete the BHA’s COVID-19 online learning module in advance of the day followed by health questions and a temperature check on arrival at the racecourse.
Please bring with you appropriate ID.
