We are delighted to welcome you to Sedgefield Racecourse for the Hardwick Hall Festival weekend! To ensure your stay is enjoyable, safe, and comfortable, please take a few moments to read through this prearrival information.
Arrival & Departure
- Arrival: From 11:00 AM
- Departure: By 10:00 AM
Upon arrival, please report to the Racecourse Office to check in with our on-site Holiday Manager. They will be available throughout your stay to assist with any queries or requirements.
On-Site Guidelines
- Open Fires: Strictly prohibited anywhere on site.
- Barbecues: Allowed if purpose-built, portable, and raised off the ground. Only gas or charcoal may be used, and care must be taken to avoid damaging the grass.
- Dogs: Welcome, but must be kept on a lead at all times.
- Toilets: Located next to the Racecourse Office.
Festival Access
- The walk to Hardwick Hall Festival is approximately 1 mile, making it convenient to enjoy the festivities while returning to the comfort of your caravan.
Vehicle & Gate Information
- The main vehicle access gates are locked from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Noise should be kept to a minimum during these hours to respect fellow guests and local residents.
- Pedestrian access is available via the brown gate next to the main gates during locked hours.
- If you anticipate needing vehicle access during the locked period, please make arrangements with the Holiday Manager upon arrival. The Holiday Manager is responsible for ensuring that all site gates are secure overnight.
Additional Notes
- A car boot sale takes place on Sunday morning. While this will not affect your stay, please be aware the site will be busier.
- The building in the centre course area is not in use and remains locked. Under no circumstances should this building be entered.
